We’re honoured and excited to attend the Percivall Pott Club!
This prestigious club represents a cornerstone in the evolution of surgical training in the UK. Born out of a need for structured, progressive education in the post-war era, it pioneered one of the first formal rotational training programmes in orthopaedics—long before such systems became standard.
Named after the visionary surgeon Percivall Pott, the club embodies a legacy of excellence, collaboration, and innovation. From its early days navigating the challenges of fragmented apprenticeship-style training, to establishing a planned, continuous pathway for aspiring orthopaedic surgeons, the club has played a vital role in shaping modern surgical education.
We’re proud to be part of this tradition and look forward to engaging with peers and mentors who continue to uphold the values of rigorous training, shared knowledge, and professional growth.
