BESS 2026

We are delighted to attend BESS 2026 as the meeting returns to the northeast, hosted at the stunning Glasshouse International Centre for Music in Newcastle/Gateshead. This architecturally impressive venue provides a superb setting for the meeting led by Jaime Candal-Couto, alongside Rajesh Nanda, Aparna Viswanath, Jagiannath Chakravarthy, Fiona Ashton and David Annison, the local organising committee. The meeting will begin with the Instructional Course on Wednesday 24 June 2026, focusing on trauma, with expanded capacity once again allowing more delegates than ever to benefit from this popular course. The Annual Scientific Meeting will follow on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 June 2026, featuring the return of much‑loved sessions alongside additional content to enhance an already busy and engaging programme.
